  Dr. Shah

Dr. Vivek M. Shah is an attending physician at the New England Baptist Hospital. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Orthopaedic Surgery at Tufts University School of Medicine. He is a member of Resident Selection and Otto E. AuFranc Fellowship Selection Committees at New England Baptist

Dr. Shah is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. Dr. Shah has published multiple journal articles, and presented at national conferences. He continues to actively perform research pertaining to joint replacement.

He completed his undergraduate education at New York University. He completed medical school training at the Georgetown University and Tufts University Schools of Medicine. He did his internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at Tufts Medical Center and completed the prestigious Otto E. Aufranc fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at the New England Baptist Hospital.

In his free time, Dr. Shah enjoys, playing golf, spending time with his family and marathon training.

Dr. Shah specializes in arthroscopic, primary and revision knee replacement surgery. Dr. Shah also performs primary and revision hip surgery utilizing tissue sparing techniques. In addition, Dr. Shah is proficient in both anterior and posterior hip surgical approaches.
